Arie Luyendyk Jr. Announces He’s Not Bachelor 2015, Confirms It’s Chris Soules

Sorry fans of fast cars and guys that live on the edge, Arie Luyendyk, Jr. is not going to be your Bachelor 2015. The Bachelorette 8 fan favorite — also known as Emily Maynard’s kissing bandit — confirmed this week what we’ve known in our hearts of hearts for a while now… he’s not going to be the rose giver come January. And not only that, Arie also confirmed who the lucky guy is!

….Welcome to the franchise, Chris Soules! According to the race car driver, Chris is the man who beat him out of the lead for Season 19. Though this isn’t quite official yet (executive producer Mike Fleiss is planning the announcement as we speak), judging by this tweet from Arie himself, it’s definitely the Iowa farm owner from Andi Dorfman’s latest season.

“I'm not the Bachelor, have fun on the farm people,” he wrote, alongside an emoji of a “peace out” sign. Do we sense a little shade there, mister?

We can’t fully blame Arie for having a case of sour grapes. This is now the second time that the 32-year-old was given the hope of being the Bachelor, only to have the role swiped out from under him by someone a little more wholesome. Last time, it was his pal Sean Lowe, who to be fair, was a big champion of Arie for Bachelor 2015. And now, the producers have seemingly gone with Chris for his dimples and apple pie appeal.

Ah well, there’s always the thousands of gals who are still feeling what Arie’s putting down. And maybe this is a sign he should get back with Courtney Robertson? They seem to be on great terms.

Are you sad that Arie’s not going to be Bachelor? Sound off in the comments below!
