Just when it seemed that Justin Bieber had made right with the law, he's back in hot water. As CTV reports, the 20-year-old pop star was arrested in Ontario after allegedly fighting with an occupant of a minivan that collided with his ATV.
Local police say that Justin was riding an ATV on the afternoon August 29 when he collided with a minivan in the Ontario township of Perth East, within 10 miles of his Stratford hometown.
Then, according to a statement from Ontario Provincial Police, "the driver of the ATV and an occupant of the minivan engaged in a physical altercation."
Now Justin is facing charges of assault and dangerous driving.
He has since been released from jail and must return for a court date in Stratford on September 29.
The same day as the alleged brawl, Justin was photographed riding his ATV with sometime-girlfriend Selena Gomez.
This is the Journals singer's second arrest. His first time in handcuffs was in January, when he was arrested in Miami on suspicion of DUI (among other charges). He settled that case last month by pleading guilty to a charge of driving without due care and attention and resisting an officer without violence. He was ordered to attend a 12-hour anger management course, make a $50,000 donation to charity, and to watch PSAs about drunk driving.
He was also charged with vandalism in July after egging a neighbor's house in January. After pleading no contest, he was ordered to pay over $80,000 in restitution, complete an anger management course, complete five days of community service, and serve two years of probation.
With those two incidents falling within the past year, we're not sure Justin's next judge will be so lenient!
