Heather Locklear’s Daughter to Star on Good Luck Charlie
Brains, beauty, and a red hot career? Looks like somebody takes after her mom!
Ava Sambora, the 15-year-old daughter of Heather Locklear and Bon Jovi rocker Richie Sambora, will make her TV debut on an upcoming episode of Disney Channel’s Good Luck Charlie.
Ava earned her first acting credit as Wendy, the best friend of Maude Apatow’s eternally angsty character, Sadie, in Judd Apatow’s This is 40, and will get her shot on the small screen when her guest spot on the Disney hit airs this summer.
On the show, Ava will play title character Charlie Duncan in a segment that shows what her life will be like ten years in the future.
The show, which focuses around the lives of the Duncan family of Colorado as they learn to adjust to the births of their two youngest children, has had some amazing guest stars in the past, including The Muppets, How to Eat Fried Worms star Luke Benward, and Brandon Johnson, star of TNT’s upcoming 72 Hours.
While her tenure on the show may be short-lived, Ava told People of the experience, “[It] was amazing and also extremely fun. Everyone on set was so sweet and super funny. It was just over all a really great experience and I had a great time.”
