Real Housewives of New York’s Aviva Drescher Defends Mob Wives’ Renee Graziano

Renee Graziano can’t seem to avoid making enemies this season on Mob Wives: New Blood. But she does have a friend in a fellow reality TV “wife”... a Real Housewife, that is. During last night’s (January 23) episode of the VH1 reality show, Real Housewives of New York star Aviva Drescher took to Twitter to share her support for the tough-talking Staten Island lady.

As the show was beginning, Aviva prompted her followers to watch by tweeting: “What's the difference between a #MobWife & #housewife? Tuning in to watch @reneegraziano on #MobWivesNewBlood. Anyone else a fan?”

Who knew this Bravo lady was tuning in for all of the mafia mama drama alongside us each week? They are basically neighbors, after all, so perhaps they met in the city? Well, a fan asked that very question — as well as which team the RHONY lady is on this season —and Aviva responded:

“@reneegraziano she's definitely a strong woman & a wonderful mother. We share a mutual friend! #ShowingSupport.” Ah, it all makes sense now. This is an interesting pairing, but we don’t hate it!

After Aviva shared her love for the OG Mob Wife, Renee continued the social media lovefest right back, replying: “@AvivaDrescher thank u 4 all ur support I appreciate it and I'm glad ur #teamrenee.”

Aviva retweeted her with “xo A” and then added “@reneegraziano BTW congrats on your upcoming book; #howtouseameatcleaver. #fellowauthors #support.” So there you have it, one aspiring author to another. Can there please be a crossover episode — imagine the possibilities!
