After waiting for more than a week, we’ve finally got our first look at Baby Chmerkovskiy, AKA little Shai.

New dad Maks Chmerkovskiy shared the first-ever Instagram photo of his son today, January 13.

The Dancing With the Stars champ, 36, posted an adorable photo of his baby boy’s Dumbo toy, writing, “To the paps posted outside the house for the last three days: Not gonna happen!”

While the picture is already heart-warming, it gets even cuter when you realize Shai is hiding in the corner of the shot.

Maks manages to obscure his infant by hyper-focusing on the stuffed cartoon elephant.

But, we still spotted him within seconds — and now you will too.

Although this is the first (blurry) photo of baby Shai, it’s not the first time his proud parents have gushed about their child.

“It's been one week plus one day of my fatherhood and I'm the happiest person that's ever lived,” Maks wrote on Instagram yesterday, January 12.

The love-fest didn’t end there.

“I'm also feeling very protective and now understand what every parent in history have [sic] been going through for as long as humans have been giving birth,” he confessed.

“P.S. Farts, poops and throw-ups are the best!”

And Maks isn’t the only one in love with Shai.

“I've read all the beautiful blessings and he is without a doubt a lucky boy,” Shai’s mom Peta Murgatroyd, 30, wrote of her son.

“He is a healthy boy with an incredible appetite for food and love.”

But, the DWTS beauty has some requests for her newborn.

“We can't wait to share him with you, but for the first most crucial weeks of his life we're just keeping him for ourselves and soaking up these moments,” she admitted.

“Thank you for your patience and all of your love!”
