Ben Higgins Makes ‘Bachelor’ History, Tells TWO Women He Loves Them! (VIDEO)
Everyone knows the lead is not supposed to verbalize their feelings towards their contestants — even if Kait did call Shawn Booth “the one” last year. However, Ben is about to make franchise history when he tells not one but both of his finalists he loves them!
During Bachelor Live on February 1, Chris Harrison shared a sneak peek of the finale, showing the 26-year-old dropping the L-bomb to two mystery women and winding up in tears!
“Honestly, I do love you,” he says matter-of-factly to an off-camera gal. All we can tell is that she has a leather and metal bracelet. Hmm..
The second recipient appears to be a blonde, as her hair peeks out while the Indiana hunk gushes, “This is really hard for me because I’ve known I’m in love with you for a while as well.”
As revealing as we’d like this to be, it’s still tough to tell who he’s talking to considering the Bachelor has 10 ladies remaining, and seven of them are blondies — though we have our suspicions it might be Lauren Bushnell.
In another scene, the software salesman tells his adorable parents, presumably in the Jamaica-set final weeks, “I love both of them. They’re too good to walk away from.”
And last, but certainly not least, there’s a very emotional moment where a sharply-dressed Ben puts someone in a limo and tells the camera he doesn’t want to “say goodbye to a woman who doesn’t deserve it.”
“This is the biggest mistake I’ve made,” he says through tears. “I want to keep her in my life. I don’t want to say goodbye because that’s how much I love her.”
In the after show, Ben reacted to the strong statements he made about his final two in the clip.
“I did fall in love with two women during this,” he admitted. “Going into this I didn’t think I could. But I really tried to concentrate and make each relationship its own and stay open to the process. As a result, this is where it’s left us.”
We’ll have to wait and see which women have our “perfect 10” so torn at the end — or you can click over here to spoil yourself on the final two!
The Bachelor airs Monday nights 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
