Rachel Lindsay Meets Her ‘Bachelorette’ 2017 Contestants on After the Final Rose!
UPDATE (3/13/2017 at 11:00 p.m. ET):
Just as we’d heard, the gamechanger came in the form of some of handsome men pursuing the Dallas gal on Bachelorette 2017!
Yep, the live special surprised both Rachel and viewers by bringing out a makeshift Bachelor Mansion.
“What you don’t know is the The Bachelorette starts right now!” Chris Harrison announced, as some of her contestants were brought out.
First, a handsome man named DeMario in a sharp tux, who came armed with two flights to Vegas and even a ring.
Great gimmick, dude! Then, a nervous fella by the name of Blake who made the Bachelorette uncomfortable by just hugging her over and over.
On to Dean, bringing with him a maroon tie and a terrible joke. “I just wanted you to know, I’m ready to go black and I’m never gonna go back.”
Baltimore native Eric was a bit smoother, wooing her with some cool lines and a little dance along.
We’re loving the talent so far. This is definitely paving the way for a great season. Keep it coming, ABC!
The Bachelorette premieres Monday, May 22 on ABC.

Mike Fleiss is back at it again!
And tonight’s Bachelor 2017 After the Final Rose is getting the same treatment.
“Monday's live season finale is going to be historic!!! Believe me... #thebachelor,” the showrunner wrote in one of his many tweets about the live after show.

That got us wondering what this could all be about — perhaps Nick and his final pick have already split? Or maybe they’re getting married?
Luckily, we have spoilers to answering our burning questions.
According to Reality Steve, it actually has nothing to do with the Bachelor. Instead it’s about another franchise lead…
Rachel! If the blogger’s sources are correct, the Season 13 star is going to be joining Chris Harrison on the stage tonight for a big surprise. Can you guess what it is?
She’s meeting some (if not all) of her contestants!
For the record, this really is a surprise and apparently, at the moment, the Dallas gal herself doesn’t know it’s happening.
This changes things a bit, as we’ve never been exposed to the contestants this far in advance of a season premiere (which is still two-plus months away). But there’s more.
Not only that, but the Bachelorette doesn’t usually meet them until premiere night. Seeing as that’s set to take place when filming kicks off on Wednesday or Thursday of this week, it’s only a couple days early.
Then again, since ATFR is only an hour long, with the bulk of the time spent on Nick and his runner-up and his winner, how much can we really get to know them in a less than 10-minute segment?
More likely, they’ll just walk out and she’ll get a glimpse at them — no official meeting with the exchanging of names or jobs.
So sure, some might stick out face-wise, but Rachel will have to wait until the premiere to actually speak with them.
Still an interesting twist, nonetheless, and we’re excited for a peek at her suitors!
The Bachelor Season 21 finale airs tonight, March 13 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
