The more we hear about Rachel Lindsay’s Bachelorette 2017 season, the more excited we get!

We’ve said from the beginning the Dallas lawyer deserves more from the ABC show, and it sounds like the producers are giving her just that — including on her Hometown Dates!

Of course, tradition dictates the final four contestants bring the Bachelorette to their individual hometowns for this episode, in order to introduce their potential wife to their families.

However, one of the Powers That Be in the franchise just let it slip that things will be changing for Rachel.

Robert Mills, head of alternative programming at ABC, revealed on his Entertainment Weekly “The Bachelor Live” podcast recently that “hometowns will be a little different this season.”

“Her family’s not gonna be able to travel to the end like normally happens because her sister is extremely pregnant and is unable to fly,” the producer began.

He then shared, “So she’s gonna be taking guys to her home, to meet her family.”

In other words, looks like we’re in for an ep entirely set in Dallas!

As Reality Steve points out, that does unfortunately mean we’re probably not getting that extra peek into these guys’ pasts by touring their home bases.

On the other hand, we’re guessing the show will at least fly their families to Texas so they can meet the 31-year-old beauty.

Guess we’ll have to wait and see, but fingers crossed this is a sign Rach’s federal judge dad will be involved this time around!

And if not, there will be plenty of fun to be had with her mom and sisters, who were amazing on her own Bachelor 2017 hometown.

Wait, maybe this means all the of the families will interact?! Now, that would be good...
