Nick Viall is about to single-handedly change the entire Bachelor franchise — and all it took was one decision.

That wasn’t that hard, was it producers? But we’re getting ahead of ourselves. Let’s bring it back to that game-changing moment.

NEWS: Nick Viall’s Bachelor Is Living Up to the Hype

According to Reality Steve, one of the four contestants in the 36-year-old’s Final 4 for Season 21 is going to shake up the future of the show.

Though the spoiler king hasn’t revealed all of the gals taking Nick on Hometown Dates, he did share one all-important person: Rachel Lindsay.

The 31-year-old Dallas beauty might sound familiar to you, as she was previously spoiled as the First Impression Rose recipient on night one of this season. So not only is she a clear frontrunner from the beginning, but she also makes show history.

Rachel is the first African-American contestant to ever make it to the Final Four — and that’s including 21 seasons of Bachelor and 12 of Bachelorette!

So, what does this mean? Well, hopefully a couple of things.

NEWS: Meet the Gal Who Gets Nick’s Bachelor Hometown Date!

First off, clearly this Bachelor is living in the 21st century and not letting race factor into his choices.

Not only could we have a black winner, but even the worst-case scenario is a good one.

As many Bachelor Nation-ers pointed out on Twitter, she could very well end up the Season 13 Bachelorette, seeing as they’re almost always chosen from the FInal 4.

Of course, it’s still early, but consider us excited about Rachel in general. After all, she’s not only age-appropriate for a Bachelor in the back-half of his 30s, but she’s also an accomplished lawyer and totally stunning.

The rest of the finalists will be released soon, according to Steve, but boy do they have some competition.
