Nick Viall’s ‘Bachelor’ 2017 Fave Rachel Lindsay Has a Past!
Unfortunately, some court papers were recently unearthed casting a bit of a shadow on that theory.
Should we rethink our take on the Dallas gal?
That depends on how you see this information, courtesy of legal docs discovered by RadarOnline.com.
According to the report, in 2013, the now-31-year-old was involved in a bad car accident in her hometown, for which she was blamed!
She was then sued by the victim of the crash, who accused Rachel of “negligently failing to control her vehicle, thereby causing a collision between hers and a car driven by the plaintiff.”
The paperwork says she struck the car from behind due to her excessive speed, causing damage to the plaintiff’s car.
Luckily, it sounds like things could have been a lot worse.
The plaintiff requested damages for medical care and expenses, physical pain, suffering in the future, physical impairment in the past, loss of earnings in the past, and mental anguish.
That might seem bad, however, it may have been played up as the brunette beauty denied all of the allegations.
Ultimately, both parties settled with their insurance companies and the lawsuit was dismissed with prejudice.
In other words, our opinions have not changed about this Season 21 one to watch. Accidents happen and we’re glad everyone was (mostly) OK!
The Bachelor Season 21 premieres Monday, January 2 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
