‘Bachelor’ 2017 Star Vanessa Grimaldi Used to Be an Actress (PHOTOS)
After all, she’s attractive, Canadian, tri-lingual special education teacher who can cook — what more could Nick Viall ask for?
Yet still, it appears there’s even more to Vanessa than all that, and what we find might actually surprise you!
Before becoming a teacher, the 29-year-old actually had a short-lived career as an actress!
According to her IMDB page, she had a few bit parts in TV shows between 2010 and 2014 — all on series filmed in her native Canada.
Now, none of the roles were particularly big. She started out in 2010 with the part of “girl” on an episode of Spike’s college sex comedy, Blue Mountain State.
Then, in 2011, she was “Lola” on one episode of the Syfy supernatural series, Being Human, and later in 2014, a stewardess on the network’s miniseries, Ascension.
Like many other aspiring thespians, the Italian beauty also tried her hand at the whole hosting thing for a while, as well.
Around the same time as she was appearing on the aforementioned shows, she was acting as co-host of the YouTube video podcasts for video game company, GameLoft.
Her Hollywood aspirations seem to be a thing of the past these days, though, as she appears to be more focused on helping her students than gaining fame.
Then again, if she does end with our Bachelor — click over here to spoil yourself! — then this comfortability with the limelight might come in handy. Plus, you know Nick himself is interested in staying in the public eye.
Keep watching to see what happens with these two, though one thing’s for certain, they definitely make a red carpet-ready pair!
The Bachelor Season 21 airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
