The Bachelor: Do You Know Which Guys Didn’t Propose on the Show?

Tonight (January 6) begins Juan Pablo Galavis’s reign as the titular Bachelor on ABC’s reality TV shot at love. The Venezuelan hunk was a unanimous favorite from last season’s Desiree-fronted Bachelorette, which ultimately earned him that coveted spot in Chris Harrison’s house of roses. And since he’s such a fan fav, it’s no surprise that viewers are hoping to see him find true love this time around.

However, there’s no guarantee that Juan Pablo will pop the question at the end of his season. True fans of the show will remember that not all Bachelors have chosen to propose at their final rose. But how many men, exactly, have passed up on dropping to one knee and offering up the Neil Lane diamond?

Wetpaint asked Viggle LIVE! users that very question during last night’s (January 5) preview episode of The Bachelor: The Countdown to Juan Pablo, and it seems like Bachelor Nation needs to brush on their facts, as only 5 percent of viewers got the question right!

Those 5 percent that guessed correctly remembered that a whopping seven Bachelors have opted not to officially propose at the end. Meanwhile, a 74 percent majority believed that only two men stayed standing, and 21 percent thought that five guys walked away unattached.

Yep, a grand total of seven backed out on making the ultimate offering. Those who got cold feet? Alex Michel, Bob Guiney, Jesse Palmer, Charlie O'Connell, Travis Stork, Lorenzo Borghese, and Brad Womack (on his first season). Though, technically, Brad was the first and only one who chose to walk away completely single. The other men still tried dating their final lady, but no promise of marriage was made.

It’s been over six years since a Bachelor opted out of a proposal — but we hope that doesn’t influence Juanny P! He’s going to find his wife, we can just feel it.

Follow Juan Pablo’s journey to love on the all-new season of The Bachelor on Monday nights at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
