Why are we not surprised? Chris Bukowski, who left Bachelor in Paradise with showmantic partner Elise Mosca in Episode 3, is back on the market. How do we know? Well, the three-time — four, if you count that totally his idea move of crashing Bachelorette Season 10 — Bachelor franchise star recently had an unlikely source on his side on his hunt for a new gal.
Fashion blogger extraordinaire Dana Weiss, aka Possessionista, took to Facebook not too long ago to help fellow Chicagoan Chris track down a girl named Abby. According to Possessionista, the bar owner met a 20-something who lives with her parents nearby. Sadly, he failed to snag her number.
Dana then posted to her site, "Do you know a 20-something girl named Abby from Deerfield … who met Chris Bukowski last week in Chicago and is looking to start a long term relationship of selling stories about one another to Wetpaint and maybe getting to sit in the audience of an upcoming Men Tell All." (Thanks for the shout out, g-fry, but we get our stories au natural, FTR.)
After a ton of people joined in on the brainstorm on both on Facebook and Dana's site, the gal was located. But here's the kicker: Her friend then wrote a nastily-worded email to Dana demanding the trendspotter take down the post immediately — if not sooner. Come to find out, this gal is taken and wasn't looking for a former Bachelorette star boyfriend. Whomp.
So Possessionista took the post down, but the dream lives on.
So how did the romance between Chris and Elise encounter such a rapid demise that he was looking for love on the Internet so soon after his stint on Bachelor in Paradise came to an end? According to Chris, he and the sparkly one were just in different places in their lives.
If you're sad Chris and Elise's love wasn't one for the ages, tune in to tonight's finale of BiP to catch one last sight of the happy pair together. Rumor has it they return to Paradise to rub their forever feelsies in the faces of the surviving couples; however, since the segment was filmed before the lovebirds flew the coop on each other and have since publicly broken up, it stands to reason ABC may cut their final cameos. We'll just have to tune in to find out!
