‘Bachelor in Paradise’s Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul Wedding Fake! — Report
The cast of Bachelor in Paradise might want to find another couple to model their romances off this second season, because sources report Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul’s premiere wedding was faked! Say it isn’t so!
While we were getting emotional in our living rooms watching the Season 1 couple exchange vows in a beautiful beach wedding at Playa Escondida on August 2, TMZ heard from insiders who say the June 4 ceremony wasn’t legally binding. In fact, they maintain the couple has yet to file a marriage license in either Mexico or the U.S.!
Well, maybe they just haven’t gotten around to the paperwork, you might think. Not exactly, considering Marcus recently signed up for the U.S. Coast Guard and — as Lacy explained on last night’s After Paradise recap show — he’s away at training camp! Seems like they don’t have plans to make it official anytime soon…
This is quite a surprise. In an interview Lacy did with People, the supposed newlywed enthusiastically explained how they decided a year ago to tie the knot where their romance first began.
“Marcus and I met on Bachelor in Paradise; that's where our solid foundation started,” she said. “We thought, 'Why not start the next chapter of our lives there as well?’”
The 26-year-old reality star even gushed about starting a family with her man, explaining they want two to four kids soon! With how cute Lacy and Marcus were in their ceremony, faked or not, we hold out hope these two are the real deal. We want to be able to count them in the small but strong crew of successful Bachelor couples!
