Chris Harrison’s 5 ‘Bachelorette’ Guys to Watch — Like This Fame-Hungry Frontrunner
If anyone is a good judge of character, it’s Chris Harrison.
The Bachelor and Bachelorette host is pretty much an amateur anthropologist after guiding nearly 15 years of this love “journey,” so we can count on him to tell between the villains and the winners (or both, if you’re Courtney Robertson).
For the third year in a row, Chris (via Yahoo) has given us Bachelor Nation-ers a list of five guys we should pay attention to going in JoJo Fletcher’s Bachelorette 2016, and though we’d met many of them via spoilers before, there’s some new intel that might surprise you.
Like, you know the buzzed-about frontrunner Jordan Rodgers we’ve all been talking about? There might be some “for the wrong reasons” drama there. And erectile dysfunction specialist Evan Bass? He’s not as crazy as we first thought!
Read on for more on those two, plus three others — including the obvious Season 12 villain — who will be making waves come May 23.
Before we get into the obvious (aforementioned) “villains gotta vill” nature of this 28-year-old Adonis, Harrison does admit there are some positive qualities to him.
“The real estate agent is very charming, handsome and has a body that was chiseled out of bedrock. He’s very buff,” he concedes.
However, the other shoe definitely will drop, as he hints “America is either going to love this guy or love to hate this guy,” with his “Olympic-sized” ego and the fact he’s “not shy about sharing his opinions” and is apparently super competitive. Sounds like a perfect pot-stirrer to us!
The reality host himself might have a crush on this one. The West Point graduate is one of Harrison’s “favorite guys this season” thanks to his story as a platoon leader in the Afghan war, his “Hollywood leading man good looks,” and his intelligence and charm. Plus, Chris reveals he’s a fellow Texan, so he and JoJo will have an instant connection.
But not so fast. “He really fits for JoJo. But he might be too perfect on paper but not add up in real life,” he admits.
Now this is where things get interesting. The younger brother of Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, Jordan is definitely a catch, and apparently he and JoJo have “a spark” right from the get-go.
Only problem? Chris teases, “The billion-dollar question is if he is here to extend his fame or find love. Is he just there trading on his brother’s name? Is he here to make a run to be the next Bachelor?”
Oh no! He promises the Southern belle has a good “BS meter” but there’s still a chance his charm and looks will skew her perspective. Here’s hoping he doesn’t live up to this prediction...
We knew a firefighter (and part-time male model) would win some hearts on this show, we just didn’t know it would be Chris Harrison’s.
“I am a sucker for firefighters, military, and all that. That’s a good way to go because I think it takes a certain kind of person to serve for a living.”
But don’t put all your money on Grant just yet. Despite his full package potential, apparently he just got out of a long-term relationship (see them together over here). So, as Chris says, “the question with him now is ‘Is he ready to get back out there? Is it too soon?’”
When we first saw Evan’s job listed as an “erectile dysfunction specialist,” we immediately wrote him off as canon fodder. However, while it sounds like it’s going to make for a great number of puns, surprisingly he may stick around.
“He is a really decent guy and JoJo likes him a lot,” the host details. “He is a single father raising three boys while running a chain of clinics. He is very normal and down-to-Earth.”
The Bachelorette premieres Monday, May 23 at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
