We’ve been so caught up in the major casting rumors around Bachelor in Paradise Season 4, we almost missed a rumored new franchise crossover!

And if the buzz turns out to be true, we might have the first official ABC-Bravo reality star jump — all thanks to Bachelorette 2016 alum Chase McNary.

Though you’d think the 28-year-old would be a shoo-in for Paradise’s new season, he said recently that he wasn’t sure if he could "degrade myself down to Bachelor in Paradise.”

With that, he’s referring to how ABC optioned him as a possible Bachelor star last year, only for him to be bumped for Luke Pell and then Nick Viall.

Since he’s seemingly looking for bigger and better things than his Bachelor Nation roots, it shouldn’t come as a shock that he might be jumping networks.

More specifically, Reality Steve teases that the Denver native will appear on the next season of Vanderpump Rules!

“I have no idea in what role that would be,” the spoiler blogger admits, though a look at Chase’s recent activities explain how he might’ve entered the SUR fold.

For one thing, there’s his recent relocation to the West Coast!

He and Bachelorette bestie Robby Hayes moved in with Emily Maynard’s Bachelorette ex Jef Holm in Venice Beach back in April.

The bros shared at the time they’d all linked up at Nick Viall’s Women Tell All special, and after partying together, decided to become roommates.

For Robby and Chase, it was a no brainer for all the opportunities in the L.A. area.

“You only live once, so why not go for it? We’re striking while the iron is hot,” the Wilhelmina model gushed at the time.

The main “opportunity” the two appeared to be pursuing was their business, Leisureletics, featuring athletic wear, swimsuits, and, eventually, a subscription service a la Fabletics.

That brings us to the Vanderpump possibilities.

It’s still a mystery how and when (and if!) JoJo Fletcher’s former suitor will link up with Jax Taylor, Stassi Schroeder, and crew. But we do have some theories.

For one, he could be working with some of the people in the cast to promote their athleisure line — hey, they are all fit and attractive people, after all!

There’s also the romance angle...

Though we can’t see Chase “regressing” (as he might say) to working as a waiter or a bartender at SUR, we could see him going on a few dates with someone like Stassi.

Sure, she did recently get back together with her ex, but she was single and documenting her dating life before that!

Whatever the case, we’re keeping an eye out for more clues about his possible incorporation into the show.

Maybe a cast member will respond to it — just last week Jax debunked rumors that Chad Johnson would be on Vanderpump!

Time will tell!

Vanderpump Rules Season 6 premieres on Bravo later this year, and Bachelor in Paradise Season 4 premieres on August 8 on ABC.
