Will Andi Dorfman Go Back to Being a Lawyer? She Says… (VIDEO)

Atlanta area gang members, look out! Though Bachelorette Andi Dorfman may have resigned from her post as assistant district attorney (prosecuting organized crime) back in June, she’s not done with her legal profession just yet. In fact, now that her duties on the ABC show are nearly over — and she’s found the love of her life Josh Murray — Andi is ready to get back into the game.

In an interview with HuffPost Live this week, the 27-year-old was asked about her plans now that she’s free to go about her daily life (public appearances, notwithstanding). While there have been rumors that the notoriously left-footed gal might join Dancing With the Stars she reveals that’s very unlikely.

“Girl, have you seen me dance? I would not be cute dancer.” Josh disagrees, saying he thinks it would be cute — and they both agree that he would be great on the reality competition. So maybe it’s Josh who’s in the running for the next cast? Say it is so!

But what is in her future is a return to law — in some shape or form. “Obviously, I’m an attorney,” Andi states. “Not working at the moment, I mean, just all the press stuff. Took a leave of absence for the shows. But I think once the dust settles, once we unpack our suitcases and actually make it back to Atlanta, [I’ll] definitely pick up something in the law profession again.”

We’re not totally surprised to hear that the Dorf just couldn’t stay away from her tough-as-nails gig. After all, when she first submitted her resignation, she said that her commitments to the Bachelorette franchise would be over "by year's end,” and she hoped that her former employers would "strongly" consider her for rehire. Hear that, Mr. Atlanta D.A.? Andi’s picking you over DWTS! Be honored.
