Bachelorette’s Kasey Kahl Sentenced to 3 Years of Probation for Bar Brawl
Stemming from his January 2012 arrest for getting into a fight outside a bar in Fresno, California, Kasey Kahl has been sentenced to three years of probation and community service in his court hearing yesterday.
The Bachelorette Season 6 and Bachelor Pad 2 star was accused of breaking a man's nose and striking the man's girlfriend. He pleaded "no contest" to a felony assault charge in March as part of a plea deal that resulted in the court dropping an additional assault charge against him.
According to the couple Kasey is charged with attacking, Renee Idsinga and her boyfriend Richard Chaney, they got into an altercation with Kasey when he was "very intoxicated," after he allegedly shouted insults at them. They claim he then struck Richard several times in the fae and head during the fight at Club Habanos. The couple also admitted to drinking that night.
Kasey argued back, saying he was acting in self defense after Renee and Richard jumped him for "no reason."
ABC News did report that Kasey's lawyer, Gerald Schwab, believes the reality star's charges could get expunged if he follows the sentencing rules.
Sounds like the ruling can be erased, unlike his awkward tattoo from his season of The Bachelorette. Bad ideas, buddy. Bad ideas.
