Ben Affleck on Jimmy Fallon: ‘My Son Runs Into Walls’ (VIDEO)

We love Jen and Ben at Wetpaint Moms, and we don’t care who knows it! Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck and their adorable kids — Violet, 7; Seraphina, 4; and Samuel, 18 months — make one of the cutest Hollywood families, and with three young little ones, one of the most real sets of parents on the big screen.

Ben paid a visit to Late Night With Jimmy Fallon earlier this week to talk about his starring role in the upcoming Batman film, but who could get straight to business when there are so many parenting stories to be swapped? Jimmy recently welcomed his first child, a daughter named Winnie, with wife Nancy Juvonen last month, and Ben was all too eager to discuss his experiences of raising both girls and boys.

“I gotta tell you, little girls are the best,” Ben said. “I went around my whole life thinking I was more or less as smart as women. Then I had kids and I couldn’t have been more wrong. Like, my son just runs into walls. My daughters build things like MacGyver, they can all read, and my son… just blows up toys.”

While Jimmy seems a bit too intrigued by the idea of having a boy that he could jump off a cliff with like little Samuel, he comes back to reality and begins to explain how precious his little Winnie is. The Late Night host admits that he basically can’t stop staring at her, wondering what color eyes and hair she’ll have.

“When my kids were little babies,” Ben interjects, “I was like oh my God, the beauty, it’s like heaven, clouds, and immortality, and then you see the old baby pictures. I was telling my wife, ‘Actually, she was kinda ugly. She had kind of a lumpy head when she was a baby.’”

We’re definitely wondering how Jennifer is taking all this honesty from her husband? She could totally be that chill wife who giggles along with her crazy manchild of a husband, or she could be that wife who gets right up in their face and tells ‘em how it is. Oh, wait…
