Ben Higgins Is Not Speaking With Ex-Fiancée Lauren: “There’s No Communication”
Though they spoke briefly following their split, the Denver native knows nothing good will come out of maintaining contact.
“There’s no communication,” the reality star told Life & Style.
“When there is [communication], it’s not anything more than, ‘Hey, can you send this to the house?’ or, ‘Hey, I forgot this, can you help me out with my password here?’”
The former pair lived together in Denver for a period of time following their experience on The Bachelor, but he’s now ready to move on.
“I care about her. I hope she’s well. I will always care about her and I guess that’s the healthiest place I can be.”
The 27-year-old recently moved on with boyfriend Devin Antin, but the Almost Famous podcast host confirmed he’s still single.
Though he’s gone on a couple of dates with a few lucky ladies, Ben’s not ready to commit to anything serious just yet.
"I'm not trying to hide anything. I've gone on a couple dates," he told E! News last month.
"It's been nothing but dates. I think it's been blown out of proportion. I'm not exclusively with anybody. But I am starting to put my foot back in the water."
As for right now, the former Bachelorette star is just focused on being happy and healthy.

"Life's been a little crazy for me, and it took me awhile to get my mind and heart back in the place to start dating again," he shared.
"But I'm starting to, and I think that's the best step. I didn't know how to start, and I'm starting.”
Will I be the Bachelor again? One thing Ill always be is a small-town boy from Indiana, and in Indiana farmings a big deal. My main takeaway from farming is that you always harvest what you plantIve never seen someone plant beans and harvest corn. In this season of life I want to plant generosity and to serve others, because thats what I hope to see in this world with all of my heart. I believe in love, hope, and that being Generous creates the world we all want to live in. He continued, “But that's about as far as it goes. There's some great people in my life. Hopefully soon I will be able to show somebody off."
The former leading man also opened up about the newest Bachelor to join the family, Arie Luyendyk Jr.
"He's going to do fine. I think Arie is going to do great. He's a little bit of a mystery, right?” he confessed.
“He's got a great story, a great background, a great family. He's old enough to be mature enough to go through this process and really try to find somebody."
