Ben Higgins Has Been Secretly Calling JoJo Fletcher — Report

Things are a little murky when it comes to Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell’s wedding.

First, it was on and headed for a TV special, then they “called it off” in a recent episode of Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After.

However, in this week’s season finale of the Freeform spin-off, they said things were “back on,” so what gives? Well, a new theory has emerged.

If a new report is to be believed, Ben’s former runner-up, JoJo Fletcher, might have something to do with all this hesitation to walk down the aisle.

Apparently, the 27-year-old hunk has been keeping in touch with his Bachelorette star ex behind his fiancée’s back!

“Ben has been secretly calling JoJo ever since Lauren moved in with him in April,” the insider tells Life & Style.

“They talked every three or four weeks at first, but it’s become more frequent since the wedding was canceled.”

Of course, if this is really happening, neither Lauren nor JoJo’s fiancé Jordan Rodgers are aware of their continued contact.

“If Lauren knew about it, she’d be devastated,” the source shares.

That goes for the brunette beauty’s ex-athlete beau, as well. “Jordan is absolutely clueless about the calls."

As the insider tells it, the Dallas gal is “not happy in her relationship” with Jordan, and has her own regrets about how things ended with Ben.

However, this is just one report. A new interview with LaurBen themselves tells a different story.

As we learned earlier this week, though the couple is still together, they’re not actively planning their wedding.

That might sound like a death sentence to a relationship, but the future spouses say they’re happy with their decision and are focusing more on building their “foundation” — something both their families understand.
