Benzino Makes Romantic Gesture to Althea Heart With Massive Tattoo (VIDEO)

Nothing says love like a giant, permanent tattoo of the one your heart sings for across your body — if you’re Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star Benzino, that is.

It’s no secret that Zino is a lover of ink (um, have you seen his body?). In this unseen footage from Season 3, Episode 13: “Life Happens,” the rapper take the plunge and gets a full-length portrait of his fianceé, Althea Heart, tatted on the side of his body.

In the clip, Benzino walks into a tattoo parlour, with a color photo of a scantily-clad Althea that he would like reproduced on his body. The tattoo artist warns Zino that it will probably hurt a lot — especially since he wants the tattoo done on the side of his body that was injured during the shooting at his mother’s funeral. However, Zino shrugs it off.

“That s—t’s gonna be pain like hell, but if there’s no pain for somebody you love, then what is pain?” Benzino tells the tattoo artist. You’re cutting us deep with the wisdom there, Zino Grigio.

Benzino tells the artist that he wants Althea’s whole body tattooed on his body, because it’s going to be a very special present for his lady.

“The unveiling — that’s going to be special,” Zino starts, saying “it’s going to be at her birthday party.” Next we watch as Zino lays on his side for several hours (obviously cut down due to the magic of editing), enduring every jab the needle gives him to create his precious work of body art.

We already saw the finished work when Benzino unveiled his tattoo this past April. Boy, Zino must really love Althea; this is his second tat in dedication to his Thi Thi.

Would you get a tattoo of a love one on your body? Tell us what you think of Benzino’s decision in the comments below
