Love & Hip Hop Atlanta stars Mimi Faust and Benzino may not be the best of friends (actually, they’re not really friends at all), but Benzino appears to be one of the few who doesn’t condemn the 40-something mom for making a sex tape with boyfriend Nikko. In fact, Benzino says the only person who should judge Mimi is God.
“Shout out to Mimi Faust,” the Boston rapper said in Atlanta during fianceé Althea Heart’s release party for her new single. “To each to their own. Only God can judge.”
Althea, who was celebrating the release of her song, “Ghetto Love,” also had something positive to say about Mimi’s skin flick: "To each to his own. I hope she’s rich!"
As we already know, several people have taken offense at Mimi’s videotaped raunch fest. Most notable: co-star and sworn enemy, Joseline Hernandez, who slammed the vid by calling it “granny porn.”
Mimi’s ex-boyfriend and baby daddy, Stevie J., also had something to say about the “leaked” video — at least, he does in the Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Season 3 super trailer. Stevie even threatened to take legal action concerning his three-year-old daughter with Mimi, Eva.
We’re sure Mimi would appreciate Benzino’s neutral stance, despite the fact she made it abundantly clear she doesn’t care what anyone has to say and thinks Joseline is just jealous.
Could this be the beginning of truce between Benzino and Mimi? Maybe so!
Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Season 3 airs Monday, May 5, at 8 p.m. ET on VH1.
