Best and Worst Fashion from American Idol: The Top 11

Well fans, we didn’t have to say goodbye to anyone this week. The audience at the Kodak Theater, and the rest of America, took a collective gasp when Idol favorite Casey Abrams was in danger of packing his bags this week. But didn’t you sort of had that gut feeling that Randy, J.Lo, and Steven were not going to let one of their most-adored performers hit the road? We did! And Casey was saved from elimination. But that just means no more safety nets for these Idols.

All that drama, and we haven’t even touched on the fashion from the Top 11! All the contestants stepped up their games onstage, and stepped up their wardrobe choices, too. Two songstresses raced to the front of pack for Motown night, leaving a couple sartorial victims in their dust. Find out who rocked it out in the style, and who needed a pick-me-up.

BEST: Lauren Alaina’s Fierce Maxi Dress

Lauren’s animal-print maxi-dress had us hooked the moment she stepped out onstage. It was the absolute perfect color palette and cut for her. Paired with piled bangles, a cocktail ring, and sleek locks, she could not have gotten it more right.

BEST: Pia Toscano Is a Certified Star

This black, backless number fit Pia like a glove. Match a stunning gown with her killer pipes and this gal proves week after week that star quality is just in her blood.

WORST: Jacob Lusk Picks a Bad Blazer

Jacob earned rave reviews with his performance of “You’re All I Need to Get By,” but we’re not all too keen on that ill-fitting blazer.

WORST: Thia Megia’s Boring Frock

Thia’s really toned down her style for the finals, but we think she needs to crank it back up a notch. This little black-and-blush-tone dress was a serious snooze.
