It was a triumphant morning over at America’s Got Talent judge Howard Stern’s Sirius XM radio station, with Howard’s beloved, longtime sidekick, Robin Quivers, returning to the studio for the first time in 17 months after a drawn-out battle with cancer.
Although Robin had not been working from the studio, she had been phoning into the show from home, leaving fans and listeners totally unaware of her serious illness.
Now that she’s cured, according to her doctors, she’s resuming her normal working schedule. And just last night (October 1), Wetpaint Entertainment had the chance to ask Howard’s wife Beth Stern about how Robin’s feeling.
“Oh my gosh, Robin is a miracle,” Beth told us at QVC’s annual FFANY “Shoes for Sale” event. “She’s just the bravest woman I know.”
And while it would have been more than understandable for Robin to take sick leave during her cancer battle, “she worked throughout the whole ordeal,” Beth notes. “She was so incredible and people didn’t even know what was going on. I think maybe she missed half of one day in all.”
“She’s looking great, she’s feeling great, and she has a new book coming out,” Beth concludes. “So right now, we’re all just celebrating her life. All is well.”
Indeed, as Robin herself told TMZ after today’s broadcast, she and her Howard Stern family “know we love each other. This just gave us an opportunity to express what’s always been there.”
