Bethenny Frankel Sends Jill & Bobby Zarin Gifts Following Cancer Diagnosis
The Real Housewives of New York City stars were BFFs on the early seasons of the Bravo show, but had a massive falling out and haven’t spoken since.
Despite Jill’s wishes to reconcile, the Skinnygirl creator has always been resistant to jumping back into a friendship with the 53-year-old.
However, that’s all changed now that Jill’s husband, Bobby Zarin, is battling cancer.
According to E! News, the brunette beauty sent Jill a gift during her difficult time.
Millionaire Matchmaker star Patti Stanger opened up about the situation on Heather McDonald’s Juicy Scoop podcast.
"Bobby's dying. He doesn't have a lot of time. This is not something to play around with,” the dating guru said.
“Network antics aside, me and Andy [Cohen] have been texting and e-mailing, and this last week, Bethenny did send a basket of goodies to Bobby."
She continued, "At the end of the day, if you get sick — like Bobby — you need support, and we can all get sick."
The 56-year-old hopes Bethenny and Jill can set their differences aside and mend their relationship.
"I'm sick of the feud. I hope it ends," the WEtv star shared.
"[Bethenny and I] have a lot in common. She's single. It's not easy being a single woman. I don't care how much money you have."
Jill revealed Bobby was hospitalized last month, sharing, "It's been a difficult year since his brain tumor diagnosis but ironically that's not even the issue."
She continued, "His papillary thyroid cancer has morphed into something called anaplastic thyroid cancer. It's very, very rare."
The former Bravo star also shared a message with fans on Instagram thanking everyone for their support.
"Thank you to our family and friends who have shown up everyday to help, give a kiss, bring food or send pajamas," she shared.
"My heart is filled with such emotion everyday it's hard to express. I wake up everyday now so grateful to see Bobby getting stronger.”
She continued, “I'll give another update soon but wanted to share that it is never too late and you have to Live to Live!!"
