Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel has found a new love for the new year, unfortunately her ex-husband, Jason Hoppy, reportedly isn’t too happy about it.

The talk show host recently began dating Michael A. Cerussi III, aka “Mac,” a successful financial services worker who lives in New York. While Bethenny seems to be all smiles alongside her new beau, a new report from RadarOnline.com claims that the reality star’s ex is less-than-pleased about her new romance.

Concerned about legal troubles that Mac had in college, Jason is reportedly hoping for a New York judge to prevent his ex-wife’s new boyfriend from spending time with the couple’s 3-year-old daughter, Bryn.

“Jason had previously asked a judge to issue an order prohibiting Bethenny from having any of her boyfriends around Bryn,” a source told Radar. “The judge denied Jason’s request before, citing the fact that there was no evidence that being around her mother’s boyfriends harmed her.”

Now that Bethenny is dating someone new, Jason is reportedly considering a course of action once again.

“Jason is currently mulling over his legal options in light of the reports that Bethenny is dating Michael,” the source said. “He is concerned about the past allegations surrounding Michael. It’s just a very sad situation because Jason and Bethenny continue to argue over care of Bryn, all while still living under the same roof.”

But Jason might not need to get too worried about Mac getting comfortable in Bryn’s life. The wealthy party boy reportedly doesn’t have any plans to settle down anytime soon.

“He’s always said he’ll never settle down,” one of Mac’s former flames revealed to E! News. “He wants to be single forever. I’ve heard him say the words, ‘I never want to get married.’ He’s a very decent guy, he’s just not into the idea of it.”
