Former Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel has had a busy year. She has been hosting her own daytime talk show, Bethenny, which will sadly end its run next month. So what will she be doing after that?
Bethenny, 43, tells People that she plans to spend some downtime with her three-year-old daughter, Bryn, but that she also is writing a children's book. The book will hit stores in September. This woman really doesn't sleep, does she?
"I'm taking a really long break right now — I want to focus on my Skinnygirl brand and my daughter," Bethenny says. "I've been working so hard for so long, and I just really want to rest and enjoy and just kind of be." We think she's earned it! Meanwhile, her talk show has been canceled but will continue to air new episodes through May 2014.
The book will be called Cookie and Peanut and was inspired by her daughter. "She's the Peanut, and my dog's the Cookie," Bethenny reveals. "I'm reading her the book, and she's kind of helping me with the story. She likes it — it's really cute and she loves a good children's book.
If you ask us, Bryn is totally lucky, since she gets to hear the book before the rest of us do! And we're wishing Bethenny all the best in her future endeavors.
