Bethenny Frankel back on Bravo? Not on your life. Well, unless she can have Andy Cohen’s job. Those are the terms the 43-year-old New Yorker is reportedly putting down now that she’s finished with daytime.
The always candid reality TV star got even more candid recently, calling her gig as a talk show host a failure and equating her Real Housewives of New York memories to “flashbacks from Vietnam.”
Bethenny’s controversial comments came during the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center’s Seasons of Health event, according to RadarOnline.com. During her speech, Bethenny reportedly said “I failed as a talk show host” and that she’s had “so many disasters, so many failures, so many low points” that “no amount of money can heal pain, suffering, and loss.”
We have a hunch that last bit’s referring to her nasty divorce from estranged husband, father of her child, and former reality TV co-star Jason Hoppy.
“I don’t know if I want to be famous anymore,” Bethenny supposedly added, “but I will continue to pursue it.”
But pursue it on RHoNY? Unlikely, as a source told the site, “she thinks she’s beyond and above that” though she wouldn’t mind filling in for Andy on his Bravo staple, Watch What Happens Live. If that’s the case, you can bet SkinnyGirl will be at the bar.
