It’s time to beef up security and have the caterer add two plates to the party total, because it looks like Jay Z and Beyonce are going to making an appearance at Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s wedding, after all.
While it was initially reported that the music megastars would be skipping Kimye’s Parisian nuptials because of the media circus their big day has turned into, it seems they’ve changed their minds, with just one stipulation: no cameras.
A source for RadarOnline.com reveals that Jay has not only RSVPed yes to the couple’s celebration, he’s signed on to be Kanye’s best man, as well.
To let Kanye know he was ready to take on the important role, which he may or may not have been offered, Jay sent over a small token his affection for his fellow rapper.
“Jay sent a gift to Kanye with an inscription referring to Jay Z as the rapper’s ‘Best Man.’ The gift was a gold-plated, diamond-encrusted flask, delivered with a $10,000 bottle of scotch, for Kanye to have for his wedding day,” reveals a source close to the rapper.
While the power couple may be up for some dinner and dancing with Kimye’s family and friends, they won’t appear in any photos or footage with their pals.
“Both Jay and Beyonce are refusing to participate in any filming, so E! will get to air some wedding photos, but none with them in it,” says a Kardashian insider.
Luckily for them, it may be easy enough to avoid the cameras — according to Kim, while footage from the pre and post-wedding festivities will be captured by E! cameras, the wedding will be a film-free zone.
Do you think Beyonce and Jay’s request to stay off camera is reasonable?
