Beyoncé and Jay Z’s On the Run Trailer: Blake Lively “Truly Felt Cool” After Invite
Beside being on a constant loop on our computers, Beyoncé and Jay Z’s trailer for their On the Run tour is awesome. We say this as unbiasedly as we can because really, the facts speak for themselves.
In less than four minutes, Bey and Jay take us on whirlwind crime spree with the kind of special effects typically reserved only for movies. The megawatt star power of the short doesn’t hurt its cinematic cred either. The production team of J&B rounded up the likes of Don Cheadle, Jake Gyllenhaal, and our girl Blake Lively for their little film project.
So what’s getting that call like? What do you do when you find out the Carters wants you? For us, we’d faint, wake up, faint, repeat. For Blake Lively? She just felt really, really cool.
Asked by a fan during a Twitter Q&A hosted by Vogue what her first reaction was to the VIP nod, Blake candidly replied, “It was the first moment in my life where I truly felt cool. It gave me a high sense of self-esteem for a good 10 min.”
Only 10? Heck, we’d be riding that wave until our dying day. Then again, we’re not the covergirl of Vogue, star of Gossip Girl, and wife of Ryan Reynolds.
