Beyoncé Has Already Lost 30 Pounds Just Weeks After Giving Birth — Report
It’s been nearly three weeks since Bey gave birth to twins Rumi and Sir, and while most mothers would be focused on resting and relaxing, it turns out the 35-year-old may be doing the exact opposite.
The mother of three has reportedly already lost 30 pounds of baby weight and is working hard to get back in shape.
According to Hollywood Life, the “Formation” hitmaker is already exercising, despite having a C-section to deliver her babies.
In most cases, women who have C-sections are advised by doctors to wait about six weeks before exercising, as it takes longer to recover.
“Beyonce is working out again and eating well,” a source said.
“Now that she feels stronger after giving birth, she has begun work with a personal trainer again to shed her leftover baby weight.”
In fact, it turns out the weight has come off quite easily for Jay Z’s wife.
“After the first week of giving birth to the twins she lost 20-25 pounds, most of which was water retention, of the almost 50 she put on with the twins,” the source continued.
“Now about 3 weeks after giving birth she has lost almost 30 total but she is not ready for the public eye.
"She wants to shed another 15 pounds before making any announcements.”
The singer is also focused on eating a healthy diet, which is surely contributing to her weight loss.
“Beyonce’s diet has been a simple low-fat, low-carb diet full of organic greens and lean proteins like tuna and chicken breast,” the source shared.
“She is happy and determined to be a fit and fabulous mom!”
Bey, just FYI, you don’t have to do any work to be a fabulous mom.
However, Dr. Bruce Ettinger, who is an OB GYN, said it’s important for the songstress to rest, especially because she had surgery to deliver the twins.
“The stomach muscles get stretched out so Beyonce will want to begin exercises soon,” he shared.
“If she had a c-section she will need more time depending on how quickly she is healing.”
