Beyoncé and Jay Z will perform at the Grammys! We repeat: Beyoncé and Jay Z will perform at the Grammys! Grab your friends. Grab your remote. Grab your surfboard. This is going to be good.

We were hoping and praying this would be the case and thankfully, CBS put us out of our misery yesterday (January 19) by airing a commercial listing the two as performers for the January 26 awards show. As of publishing, we’ve yet to hear any specific details on who and what else to expect from this cosmic event but here are our expectations:

First, fire. As in the stage will light on fire by how hot Bey and Jay are together particularly if they perform as a couple as Us Weekly says they will. We mean, did you see the music video for “Drunk in Love”? A fire engine had to be waiting off camera in case the Carters became the first people in history to light up a whole ocean.

Second, adorable gifs galore. Get your computers ready, people. The internet is about to explode. No matter how long the performance, there will be at least a million gazillion (exact number) crazy good gifs of them rocking it out onstage. Prepare.

Third — and we know we’re shooting for the moon on this one — Blue Ivy. That little tater tot, who just turned two on January 7, already made her musical debut on Daddy Jay’s “Glory.” Why not add an award show performance to the list of pre-K accomplishments?

Also performing at the Grammys: Lorde, Taylor Swift, and Katy Perry, to name just a few. All are hoping they have a spot before Beyoncé and Jay Z’s.
