If there is one thing we love about 50 Cent, it’s that he has enough spare change to give his two cents — even when it comes to Beyoncé and Jay Z. The rapper played Plead the Fifth with host Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live on June 18, and he managed to throw some shade to the “royal” couple in the process.
For the rapper’s first question, Andy asked about what it was like to get yelled at in the face by Sasha Fierce during their run-in on New Year’s Eve."It's not really bad, like her breath doesn't smell,” the 38-year-old truthfully answered. Good to know!
"But it's one of those things, like the paparazzi were taking pictures of us at the same time, so there's not really a right way to respond. You've just got to accept it. You've just got to have an expression on your face like, 'What's the matter with you?'"
Throwing shade towards Jay Z and Solange, 50 went on to add, "It's like if you're in an elevator and you're attacked, you can't do nothing.” #Burn
But, there’s more, ya’ll! For 50’s last question, Andy asked, "who is the most overrated hip hop star of all time?"
50's response? "I mean Jay Z,” he quickly answered. “He would say he was overrated — rather be overrated than underpaid."
