You may have heard the rumor that Beyoncé and Jay Z are talking to a therapist during their “On the Run” tour. It doesn't sound bad if you just see it as making sure their relationship has a strong foundation, but a source reportedly close to the super-couple recently talked to the New York Post's Page Six, and the story they shared is a bit less optimistic.
Simply put, the source said Bey and Jay are no longer drunk in love. They said Jay Z "seemingly is the one most at fault," but he's also the one working hardest to keep the couple together. He's said to be the one who hired marriage counselors, and those counselors are believed to be traveling with them on the tour. “They are trying to figure out a way to split without divorcing . . . This is a huge concert tour and they’ve already gotten most of the money from the promoters up front,” the source said, adding that "There are no rings, if you haven't noticed."
This insider said the couple thought things would get better after the birth of their daughter Blue Ivy, and for a "split moment" things got real enough that they considered adding to the family. “But, after a while, Jay was out doing Jay and Bey was out doing Bey. They made the classic mistake of thinking a child would change everything and help to rekindle the initial fire, and it didn’t.”
Granted, this is just one anonymous source, and they may be getting the story twisted. (Solange, is that you?) Yeah, there have been rumors that Jay Z hasn't been the most faithful husband, but rumors are rumors and the two people in the relationship are the ones who know best.
Are you worried at all that the state of the Carter family union may not be that strong, or are you calling BS on any and all split talk?
