Beyoncé and Jay Z’s “On The Run” Tour has already given us a better glimpse at the life of Bey and Jay then we ever could have hoped for. In the first show alone we saw never-before-seen video of their wedding day as well as oodles of sweet snapshots of baby Blue Ivy. You can’t pay for this kind of access (well, actually you can and at the rate tickets sold we’d say you’re looking at a cool $100 a pop, easy).
Slideshows of family photos aren’t the only treat Beyoncé has up her bedazzled sleeve, though. Sometimes Queen B decides to take a little liberty with the lyrics, throwing the internet into a frenzy trying to figure out if what she said is actually what went down IRL. Watch the video above to get exactly what we mean.
As you’ll see, the new footage shows Bey all dolled up in a wedding gown. She’s singing her 2006 song “Resentment” and maybe showing a little of that emotion in the process.
The altered lyrics seem to imply Beyoncé once had a man who cheated with a woman who didn’t respect that Bey “was here first.” Since the 32-year-old superstar has been with Jay since, well, ever we can’t help but wonder if the man in question is actually her now-husband.
Then again, this might just be the Queen putting on a good show and getting us buzzing about the concert too.
What do you think? Bey airing her dirty laundry or just having some fun with the song?
