No matter what's really going on with Beyoncé and Jay Z, R&B star Akon says that the real problem could be one of perception.
"Their relationship has been more of a business to the outside world than an actual relationship," he tells TMZ. "Now, to them, it may be a relationship. But to the outside world … it feels more corporate."
The "Right Now" singer reckons that Bey and Jay could stand to be more communicative with their fans. "If you become a public figure, and you have a relationship, your relationship also becomes public," he explains. "So if you don't open up to the public and let people understand what this is, they will naturally speculate, and those speculations are going to be completely opposite of… what could really be happening … True, it's no one's business, but it comes a business of the public when you're a person of the public's interest."
But Akon sees a silver lining to any potential drama between the music superstars/ "What they're going through is going to make great music," the 41-year-old predicts. "It's gonna make better music, believe or not … Because they're not the only ones dealing with it. People are dealing with exactly the same thing, just on a lower scale… The only thing that makes them different than anyone else is that they're famous."
