Big Ang’s Sister and Estranged Husband Feuding After Her Death
Usually losing a loved one will bring a family together — but not Big Ang’s.
The Mob Wives star’s husband Neil Murphy — from whom she was estranged at the time of her February death from brain and lung cancer — recently announced he was throwing Big Ang’s Big Dance Party in her honor, raising money for drug abuse and LGBTQ charities.
And while this might sound like a great gesture for some, Ang’s sister Janine Detore is suspicious of her brother-in-law’s motives, saying it’s “odd” for Neil to be throwing the event instead of the rest of her family.
“I doubt my niece [Raquel] thought of this. She’s grieving so much, poor thing!” Janine tells RadarOnline.com.

She explains while the July 16 tribute concert in Staten Island is “something nice,” she feels the celebration is “too soon” for the rest of her brood.
“We are so heartbroken some days I can’t even function. My life has changed drastically and Neil to me seems fine,” she bemoans.
That pain is sure to escalate on June 30, when the larger-than-life reality star would have turned 56.
Meanwhile, the late star’s lawyer maintains they only have the best intentions for the “disc-themed” affair, with which they hope will raise “a lot of money.”
