Over the past few days, Big Ang’s loved ones were able to say goodbye to the Mob Wives star by attending her wakes and her funeral on Monday, February 22.

When co-star Karen Gravano was missing from the weekend’s proceedings, many speculated she had been “urged” not to attend any of the events. Now the mom of one is fighting against the nasty rumor.

“I didn’t go to the wakes on the first day because I was very upset,” the mob daughter told RadarOnline.com. “The second day, I didn’t want to go because all of the buzz and didn’t want to make it about that. It was about Ang.”

“There were people my father had history with, and I didn’t want to make it about that,” she continued. Karen’s father — Sammy “The Bull” Gravano — was a mob underboss for John Gotti who eventually became an FBI informant.

But, the VH1 personality did attend Big Ang’s Monday funeral at Basilica of Regina Pacis in Brooklyn.

“I thought that was appropriate,” she explained. “I went to the funeral to pay respects to my friend.”

“I was at the hospital the day she passed,” she said. “I was there when she passed and to see her off.”
