With how fun and full of life our girl Big Ang from Mob Wives: New Blood is, it’s easy to forget that she’s not only a mother, but the mother of two grown children! Sure, avid viewers of the VH1 reality show probably knew this already, but most of the time we (re: the producers) are too busy focusing on the hilarious musings of the raspy-voiced, busty gal to dig into the lives of her adult offspring.

But if you did happen to tune into Ang’s spinoff Miami Monkey last fall, you might be familiar with her daughter/doppelganger Raquel Donofrio. Though it might not be immediately evident — due to the passing of time and Big Ang’s penchant for plastic surgery — the 29-year-old is the spitting image of her larger than life mama (just look at Ang back in the day!). But is she just like her in personality, as well?

Unlike her mother, she’s all-business.

Raquel likes to joke that although she’s the daughter of Big Ang, their roles are somewhat reversed. While the Mob Wife loves to party and have fun (and we love her for it!), Raquel places most of her focus in her job as partner in Ang’s bar, Miami Monkey. In fact, her strict management style has even earned her the nickname “The Warden” amongst her employees.

She’s a mother, too!

Raquel is the mother of a young son named Sal, who is the apple of her eye. And who can blame her — he’s adorable! And his glamma Ang is just as proud of her grandson, often sharing pics of the two spending time together.

She’s highly-educated.

While her Mob Wives star mama is prone to drop a made-up word here and there (we call them Ang-isms), her daughter holds two masters degrees and has worked as a seventh grade teacher. We wonder if her mom’s grammatical errors bother her?

She’s avoided the spotlight — despite being dragged into tabloids.

Recently, various gossip sites were reporting, seemingly out of nowhere, that Raquel had an affair with Mob Wives newbie Alicia DiMichele’s incarcerated husband, Eddie Garofalo. While the rumors don’t seem to hold any truth — and some are suggesting that it was a frame job — Raquel has remained tight-lipped and kept her face out of the rags. Good for you, girl!
