Mob Wives star Big Ang is used to drama, but this time it hit a little too close to home. Early Sunday morning, a regular customer was killed outside her Staten Island bar, The Drunken Monkey. Ang tweeted about the tragedy, saying her “heart is broken by the tragic and senseless loss.”

Details are scarce, but according to the NY Daily Times, the man killed was Abdoul Cisse, a 47-year-old Nigerian described as a “beautiful man” by one of the bartenders. Abdoul was trying to break up a fight shortly before the bar closed when he was punched, which caused him to fall backwards and crack his skull on the sidewalk.

Ang was in Brooklyn at the time of his death, filming Season 5 of Mob Wives, but the next day the larger-than-life bar owner tweeted about Abdoul, “He was not just a customer, but a gentle giant that I loved.” She then added, “I personally share my heartfelt condolences to his loved ones, and we too are feeling this loss in our drunken monkey family.”

No arrests were made, and police are still investigating. Our condolences to you, Ang, and your Drunken Monkey fam.
