Big Brother 2013: Season 15’s Biggest Twists Revealed!
We're in the official countdown for Big Brother 15! Even though the new season of the show premieres next Wednesday, June 26, we've got some major Big Brother spoilers to dish about.
After a tour of the Big Brother house revealed some upgrades and redesigns, one notable change was the fact that there were no nomination chairs in the living room. Fans of the show are very familiar with the two chairs that are in the center of the living room where the two houseguest up for elimination sit, make their pleas, and find of if they will be leaving the game.
This time around, houseguests will nominate THREE fellow competitors for eviction. We don't know many other details, but CBS promises that the process will be explained during the season premiere. Let's get real, the houseguests are going to realize that there is an elimination love seat as opposed to chairs.
The other big twist is that America will have the power to potentially affect the game each week. Viewers will vote for the houseguest they believe is playing the best game, and the person who receives the most votes will be deemed that week's Big Brother MVP. What does that mean? We don't know, but that too will be revealed in the premiere.
But just because you don't know what the MVP role entails doesn't mean you have to wait for the premiere to start voting for your favorite houseguest. Voting kicks off Thursday (aka today) on the official Big Brother site after the official cast announcement (check back for that big update).
Here's your one hint about the MVP, as offered up by executive producers Allison Grodner and Rich Meehan: "[It] will force the houseguests to rethink their strategies. With America rewarding good game play, it doesn't pay to be a floater this summer." Ah, so that's how they are making this a floater-free season.
What do you think about these twists? Are they good changes or not enough of a surprise? Sound off in the comments below.
