UPDATE: As you may have guessed, Janelle is indeed pregnant, so that takes her out of the mix for BB16.
On May 15 she updated, "I will be having a baby girl in October!! :) #IknewIt #3." That's great news! But on May 24 she added, "My back is sore, can't sleep and I'm sunburned. Really bad frickin combo. Ugh. #halfwaythere I suck at being #pregnant #PregnancyProblems."
Yeah, there's no need to expect the unexpected when you're pregnant — the expected is tough enough. Good luck to her on a smooth ride for the rest of the journey!
Congratulations are in order for Big Brother alum Janelle Pierzina — we're just not sure what the good news is yet!
Rumors started last summer about 2014’s Big Brother 16 possibly being another All-Stars season. Janelle just teased some potential info on that front (or she just faked fans out). On April 3, she tweeted, “For the last three summers I have either been pregnant or playing #BigBrother. This summer will be no different!”
BB15 winner Andy Herren replied, "Can't wait to align with you in the Big Brother house!! :]" The Real World's Trishelle Cannatella wrote, "dream team." Janelle replied to both of them: "totally. I will get drunk with Trishelle and Andy can pop into conversations with people and make sure we're safe!"
With this much joking around, it's a safer bet that Janelle’s talking about another pregnancy. Janelle and husband Jess DeSanto welcomed daughter Violet in 2011 and son Lincoln in 2013. She competed on Big Brother 6, returned for BB7's All-Stars season, and was a mentor/coach on 2012's BB14.
BB16 has been holding casting calls for the past month, and the submission deadline was April 4. It’s still possible the summer season will be All-Stars, or partially All-Stars, even if Janelle was "just" tweeting about a pregnancy.
Do you hope Janelle is returning to the Big Brother house? Either way, congrats!
Big Brother 16 premieres Wednesday, June 25 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
