Don't let Nicole Franzel fool you. On the Big Brother 16 premiere, the 21-year-old from the small town of Ubly, Michigan said she had an accent and talked funny, then shared her concerns about peeing her pants and asked the meaning of El Quatro, her new alliance name. She may seem like a ditz, but she's also a Big Brother superfan and a recent nursing school grad (so if anyone gets hurt, she could save them ... or know how to make it worse).

In her CBS bio, Nicole described herself in three words as "Nerdy, flirty and classy." You may have gotten some of the nerdy from her glasses, but her answers on BB questions show she's a pretty savvy cookie after all. Asked about her strategy in the house, she said "Ideally, I would want to align with a male who would excel in the physical competitions and have a secret final 2 deal and have separate alliances on top of that. I want to win the first HOH so everyone can come to me and I can feel them out and see who I think I could trust."

That HOH thing didn't work out, but she did have two alliances right on the first day — The Crazy Eights and the all-female alliance El Quatro.

El Quatro may not work out, and not just because she doesn't understand its meaning. In her CBS video, Nicole said one of her downfalls in the Big Brother house may be that she doesn't often get along with other girls, even though she's "nice." She also warned that she might cry a lot.

Her favorite past HG is Dan, "because he is intelligent and cocky which made for good TV. Ian was one of my favorites too. He can talk nerdy to me anytime. Also, Jordan was too cute and sweet not to love." Ian, she just flirted with you. Note it. In fact, note this: In her bio, they add "Nicole has dreamt of moving into the Big Brother house since she was 8 years old and would love to have a showmance with someone like Ian." Hint, hint!

Nicole also said she has a big fear of heights, and of surgery (which is weird since, isn't she now a nurse?). She's also afraid of sharks and, of course, ghosts — she mentioned the ghost thing in the premiere. She seems like a character.

Are you backing Team Nicole this season, or do you think she’s just not cut out for this?
