UPDATE 4: Amber and Devin won the Week 2 HOH comps. Devin won when Cody was disqualified. Get the details here. Ugh!

UPDATE 3: Joey was evicted by a unanimous vote. Eh.

UPDATE 2: Donny used the POV on his own fine self, and Caleb nominated Joey as the replacement. So it's down to Paola vs. Joey as the first person to be evicted from BB16. At this point, it looks like Joey may be the one hitting the road, since she stirred up a lot of trouble with a speech to the house. But she was also named the first Team America player, so can that save her in some way?

UPDATE 1: Donny won POV! Woo hoo! So now there's a replacement scramble. Cody and Derrick are pushing for Joey as the replacement nom. Brittany would prefer to see Devin on the block, since he's stirred up trouble in the house. Caleb may be leaning toward Joey. Brittany said if another girl is put up, she'd just want to evict Paola. Caleb doesn't want anyone mad at him, so he'll do whatever the group wants.

Original story:

Donny Thompson — that sweet Pop Tart-loving groundskeeper who can make expert critter sounds — may be going home first on Big Brother 16. Sad face.

You can follow the live action at Big Brother Leak and Big Brother Updates, but here’s a roundup of what’s happened so far:

After the two-night premiere, both Frankie Grande and Caleb Reynolds were named Heads of Household. The summer's first Battle of the Block happened while the live feeds were off, and when they came on late Thursday night, it was revealed that Caleb had become the last HOH standing. So Frankie's two nominees won the battle, dethroning him as HOH and saving themselves.

Frankie had nominated Victoria Rafaeli (his fellow pink lover) and Brittany Martinez (hot mom of three), the first two girls to drop out of the Caleb-winning HOH competition; Caleb had nominated Donny and Paola Shea (Pow Pow!), the first man and woman to drop out of the Frankie-winning HOH competition.

So Donny and Paola are on the block, and the current chatter suggests Donny will leave, unless he wins Power of Veto. If he does win, there's talk that they may try to backdoor Joey Van Pelt (blue-haired Team America winner).

It looks like Caleb, Donny, Paola, Victoria, Zach Rance, and Cody Calafiore will all play in the POV competition, which will be held later today (Friday, June 27).

As the sun now stands, it doesn't seem like there's a big push to save either Paola or Donny. Frankie would rather have Paola go home but others seem to push for Donny, feeling like he's really smart. (?) Amber Borzotra and Devin Shepherd said they'd prefer to see Donny stay, but Devin mostly wants to backdoor Joey. (It always sounds so sexual when they talk about backdooring...)

However, Devin has already rubbed some HGs the wrong way by getting upset about no one cleaning and other house stuff. He apologized later for taking out his feelings on Christine Brecht, since he wasn't really upset with her. (Christine and Nicole Franzel seem to have bonded, partially over how much they dislike some of the other HGs.)

A ton of alliance talk has already been had, and it sounds like the first Crazy Eights and El Quatro alliances may already be dead. There's a new group of eight working together, apparently called The Bomb Squad: Amber, Christine, Devin, Frankie, Caleb, Zach, Cody and Derrick.

However, Zach and Frankie shook hands on a final two alliance, and they talked about having side alliances to hide it. They also feel like Devin and Caleb are the top targets in the house at this point, after this particular vote. Frankie seems very popular and Zach is pretty ambitious (although obviously shady, no?) so this is a mini alliance to watch.

Oh, and Caleb is Stage 5 obsessed with Amber. Like GinaMarie/Nick level, except Amber is still in the house. She doesn't seem to be on the same page with him.

Don't forget to come back later for updates on who wins POV and if it changes anything. Poor Donny. Hopefully the tide will turn for him. You always have to expect the unexpected!
