One of the big twists this summer on Big Brother 16 is America playing a bigger role in the game than ever before. Sure, in the past we’ve helped decide what gross things houseguests should eat, but Team America is a bit more involved this go-around. Who’s on the secret alliance with the viewing audience? Read on to find out!

It’s no surprise that the first person voted into Team America was 27-year-old Joey Van Pelt, but after her unanimous elimination during Week 1 — you know, for being one of the worst contestants ever — it left all three spots up for grabs for whomever America decided they wanted to work with going forward.

The first replacement for Team America ended up being 42-year-old Albemarle native Donny Thompson, with the second two members of the secret squad to be announced during the July 9 episode. But since the show isn’t totally live, we already know the two other houseguests who will be receiving missions from the loyal fans.

Turns out Ariana Grande’s brother, 31-year-old Frankie Grande, and 30-year-old Providence native Derrick Levasseur have been chosen to join the secret alliance with America and Donny, making yet another all-male alliance in the house. We’re not too shocked about Frankie (or Donny, actually), but Derrick has been pretty silent so far — hopefully this change will make him transform from a floater into a real player.
