Britney Spears on Her Biggest Career Blunder: Her Reality Show, Chaotic
Join us on a journey back in time, if you will — to a time when iPhones hadn’t been invented yet, Miley Cyrus had yet to don her Hannah Montana wig (let alone twerk), and the boys of One Direction were still in elementary school.
And a time before Britney Spears had ever shaved her head and was still married to ex-husband Kevin Federline and decided to film a poorly received reality show called Chaotic chronicling the ups and downs of their lives together.
2005 feels like forever ago to us, too, but for Britney Spears, it’s when she made a mistake she’ll always regret.
“I would never do something like that again,” Britney said in a new interview with The Telegraph. “Actually, that was really bad. That was probably the worst thing I’ve done in my career.
Not on Brit’s list of regrets? Crossroads, her 2002 movie debut where she starred as a young high school grad from Louisiana chasing her dreams to California alongside Taryn Manning, Zoe Saldana, and a really young, really awkward Justin Long.
“I like Crossroads. F—k you!” Britney joked when asked if she considered the movie a mistake.
It’s fine, Britney. We liked it too. We’re not going to pretend it wasn’t a major part of every high school sleepover we ever had. And any sleepovers we may have now.
