Beyonce Is the Highest-Earning Black Artist of All Time, Says Billboard

Beyonce now has another reason to get all of us humble peasants to bow down. Billboard (via MTV) calculates that Queen B is now the highest-earning black artist of all time.

That means that the 32-year-old hitmaker has surpassed other pop heavyweights like Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, and Prince.

So what put her over the top? That'd be her hugely-successful Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, which sold 2.1 million tickets over 132 concerts, bringing in a total of $229 million — which makes it the 20th highest-earning tour of all time.

Celebrity Net Worth calculates that the "Partition" singer is worth $350 million — thanks to her music career, her acting gigs, and endorsements for products like Pepsi and H&M.

Expect her bank account to go up and up — especially now that she and husband Jay Z have announced their joint On the Run concert tour, for which the two music superstars will make sixteen stops over the course of six weeks.

Not only that, but Time magazine just made Bey the covergirl for its "100 Most Influential People" issue.

Is 2014 the Year of the Beyonce? We'd vote yes.
