The cast of Black Ink Crew may have finally found the one thing they can’t cover up with a tattoo gun and some ink.
Alex Estevez, a former receptionist for the tattoo parlor, and another woman, claim that they were raped during production of the VH1 reality show, a report producers are taking very seriously.
Alex filed a lawsuit in late 2013 against the network and producers of the show, claiming that she was slipped date rape drugs by a member of the show’s production team. According to RadarOnline.com, Alex, who is asking for $1 million in damages, alleged that after ingesting her spiked drink, she blacked out as cameras continued to roll. She claims that the footage of her inebriated state was later edited to make her appear sexually aggressive.
The three companies name in the suit — Viacom, Big Fish Entertainment and New Pop Culture Productions — have fired back against these claims, saying that the women's claims are not backed up by evidence and are no more than “vague allegations of wrongdoing.”
Shop owner Ceasar had some more eloquent words to explain his view of Alex's side of the story, telling TMZ, “Ain't no one give her s—t. She was drunk off Henny. You can see from her behavior no one gave her any drugs … You don't have to give a slut drugs to do what she naturally does."
Do you think Alex has a case against the show?
