Miranda Lambert “Not Upset” By Ex-Husband Blake Shelton’s New Music
Through a source we’re hearing the “Little Red Wagon” singer is fine with her ex-husband and his new girlfriend’s artistic choices — most likely because homegirl has some tracks in her back pocket, too.
“She is not upset at the lyrics because she knows it’s just how it goes, especially as a country artist,” an insider tells E! News. “She is ... currently working on new lyrics and song ideas and many of those ideas stream from the past, present, and future experiences.”
So will the Grammy winner release a song similar to Blake’s “Go Ahead and Break My Heart” — one many are speculating is about the 34-year-old herself — in the near future? Probably.
The source goes on to reveal that “[Miranda] missed [Blake] and he missed her” after the relationship ended, but the Texas native is enjoying life with boyfriend Anderson East and is looking ahead to the future.
“Miranda and Anderson are talking about moving in with each other,” they continued. “It’s getting pretty serious. They want children and have shared their thoughts with each other on that subject.”
